Heidi Reinhart, K.C.
iGaming Ontario Board Chair
Heidi Reinhart was appointed to the Board of Directors in July 2023. Heidi is a partner at the law firm Norton Rose Fulbright Canada LLP and practices in securities and corporate law. She is also Co-Chair of the firm’s Toronto Students Committee and has been named a “Leading Lawyer to Watch – Corporate Finance & Securities” in the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory.
Heidi has served on the AGCO Board of Directors since 2020. Heidi has previously served as a board member of the non-profit volunteer centre Volunteer Toronto. Heidi has also previously volunteered at the Kitchener Waterloo Humane Society, the Hospital for Sick Children and as a caseworker and group advisor at Community Legal Aid in Windsor.
Heidi completed her undergrad degree (HBSc) at the University of Toronto and her dual law degree at the University of Windsor (LLB) and the University of Detroit Mercy (JD) law schools, where she was a recipient of the Board of Governors’ Medal in Law (Windsor)
Michael Bunn
iGaming Ontario Board Member
Michael Bunn recently retired as a Principal of Grant Thornton LLP, where he was employed for the previous 37 years. Mr. Bunn has been a chartered accountant since 1982. His experience includes audits of nonprofits, government agencies and owner managed enterprises, financial risk reviews, forensic accounting, and corporate tax. Mr. Bunn has served his community through his involvement with the following organizations: YMCA of Canada Retirement Fund, Simcoe-Muskoka YMCA, Kiwanis Club of Orillia, Community Development Corporation of Orillia, the Chamber of Commerce of Orillia, and the Orillia Museum of Art and History. In 2019, Mr. Bunn was awarded the distinction of Fellow (FCPA) by the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario which recognizes CPAs who have rendered exceptional service to the profession and in their communities.
Meaghen Russell
iGaming Ontario Board Member
Meaghen Russell is a partner in the Employment and Labour group at Dentons Canada LLP where she represents and assists employers on a wide range of employment and human rights issues. She also provides client training on matters such as workplace accommodation, workplace harassment and violence, and progressive discipline. Meaghen has received recognition for her work in the field of employment law, including receipt of the 2019 “Lexpert Rising Stars: Leading Lawyers Under 40” award as well as the 2011 “Super Lawyers: Top Young Lawyers in Illinois” award, and has authored numerous publications on employment law issues.
Obtaining a joint JD/LLB degree from the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, Meaghen was admitted to the Ontario and Illinois Bar in 2006. Meaghen has also previously served on the Ontario Bar Association Executive Committee (employment and labour law section) and various committees with the University of Western Ontario Alumni Association.
John Trivieri
iGaming Ontario Board Member
John Trivieri has been with Meridian Credit Union for over 9 years and is Meridian’s Senior Vice President and Chief Risk Officer. As Meridian’s Chief Risk Officer, John is accountable for Meridian’s overall Enterprise Risk Management strategy in all core risk categories, including strategic, credit, market, liquidity, operational, compliance, and Member risk. The scope of the role includes oversight of retail, commercial and special credit, privacy, compliance, anti-money laundering, enterprise risk management, fraud, corporate insurance and corporate security. John’s career trajectory has established him as a highly accomplished Credit and Risk Executive, with excellence in deal structuring and risk mitigation. John holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Business Administration.
Martha Otton
iGaming Ontario Executive Director
Martha Otton is Executive Director of iGaming Ontario and is responsible for managing iGaming Ontario's overall resources and operations. Previously, Martha was the Chief Strategy Officer at the AGCO and was responsible for the agency’s Strategic Plan, annual planning process and played a key role in the implementation of iAGCO and the AGCO's expanded mandate over horse racing and cannabis. Prior to joining the AGCO, Martha was a Director General at Legal Aid Ontario and before joining LAO, Martha held a series of positions at the Ministry of the Attorney General (MAG) including Acting Assistant Deputy Attorney General of the Agency Relations Division and Director of Corporate Policy and Agency Relations.
