iGaming Ontario is proud to partner with the Responsible Gambling Council (RGC) to teach students about BetGuard, Ontario’s centralized self-exclusion tool for regulated online gambling, as part of the RGC’s 2026-27 Post-Secondary Campus Tour.
RGC’s Post-Secondary Campus Tour visits post-secondary schools across the province to lead prevention conversations, answer questions and share support and resources including BetGuard.
Now with iGaming Ontario’s support, RGC expanded the 2026-27 tour from 20 to 40 publicly funded campuses across Ontario, creating the opportunity for up to 10,000 student interactions.
“We are excited to partner with the Responsible Gambling Council to bring meaningful gambling education to 40 of Ontario’s publicly funded post-secondary campuses,” said iGaming Ontario President and CEO Joseph Hillier. “We're proud to have recently launched BetGuard, which gives Ontarians a simple option to take a break from all regulated online gambling. This is just one part of our comprehensive responsible gaming approach that includes ongoing education on risks and knowing where to get support when you need it.”
The tour also allows students to try the Random Tower, a life-sized Jenga-style activity customized with important messages about harm reduction.
